Gil Martinez knows that buying and selling a home is one of the most important financial transactions that people experience in their lifetime. He is passionate about staying on top of the local market, understanding his clients' needs, and working hard for them.With several millions of dollars in total sales, Gil has been a full-time Realtor® for over twenty-five years, enjoying navigating the real estate transaction, from the entire escrow process to closing.
His past clients appreciate his ability to analyzemarket conditions, solve problems, and assure that the deal will close.Gil has served as a real estate appraiser for both the Veterans Administration and FHA, not to mention as a conventional appraiser for various mortgage companies. Gil began his real estate career with many investors in the Memphis area. He has served as real estate instructor for a number of years at Shelby State Community College in Memphis, TN, as well as at the Continuous Learning Institute (CLI) in Nashville.It was after receiving a degree in Urban Planning and Public Administration from Memphis State University that he moved to Nashville, where he covers the Davidson, Williamson, and Rutherford Counties.
He was eventually recruited by RE/MAX Elite, where he served as a real estate professional for about twelve years. These experiences have presented him with a good fund of real estate knowledge and market values.Joining Benchmark in 2011, Gil enjoys being a Realtor® and is a member of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
